AHA–IHMS campuses accept students for enrollment at different times of the year. For exact starting dates, please contact the local AHA IHMS campus you are interested in. Applications for admission are reviewed and processed continuously through out the year. AHA-IHMS recommends that applicants submit materials as early as possible. International students in particular should allow extra time for the visa process.

Applicants require:
A completed, signed, original application.
Proof of graduation: Official secondary school,
College or University transcripts with (a) an official English translation of the transcript (b) a grading guide that gives equivalent U.S. grades.
Proof of English competency. AHA IHMS will
accept as proof a TOEFL (Test of English as Foreign Language) score of at least 500 or sufficient documentation of a significant level of English instruction. An IELTS score of 5.5 is also accepted.
All coursework, lessons, examinations, and assignments require proficiency in English, preferably at TOEFL 5.0 level, IELTS 5.5 or equivalent. Students' English skills may also be measured via an on-campus placement test before they enter the academic program. If placement tests indicate a need for remedial English and / or English as a Second Language (ESL), the College reserves the right to add to, reduce or change a student's course load accordingly.
Health Requirements for all Students
Students are required to submit a properly and fully completed health form that provides a complete physical and health history prior to the first day of class. Failure to complete this form may cause a delay in the registration process. The Office of Admissions automatically mails health forms to students, once they have been accepted. These forms arrive with other documents in an information package.
